From the message I sent to Representative Evans on his website:
Thank you for your continuing efforts to impeach Donald Trump. I understand there are processes to follow, but it’s still a little disappointing that the vote is on Wednesday instead of today, especially if it gives time for Trump’s enablers to rally and attempt to sabotage the effort.
Representative Cori Bush has put forth House Resolution 25. I support her efforts to find and remove congressmembers who encouraged and supported the insurrection on Wednesday that put so many people–ironically including themselves and Vice President Pence–in mortal danger. Clearly they have violated their oaths and will continue to do so. How can our country move forward if such people continue to operate inside our own government to disrupt and destroy it?
Planning in plain view continues for more violence in the coming weeks and during President-Elect Biden’s inauguration. Please stay safe. Do whatever you can from the House to prevent new attacks and punish those domestic enemies who would and did act to violently overthrow our democracy.
